I should have 200 cheese and a 100 chairs by the time I need to go to bed. That should place in both. I could use the medals because I am upgrading the radio factory to level 4 and it takes 4 days to complete.

Weekend's almost over, and no sign of an actual viking ship for me - shame, cos I might have been tempted to have actually paid for that (needing to boost my city population to get the next factory; and yes, I know I could put something else in storage, but I need everything I've got to make sure I keep accruing cash!). Never mind, at least I completed the "collect design mags, collect energy" stage of the Eiffel Tower challenge over the past few days. So happy that I will have 50+ unwanted design journals now languishing in my storage, haha!
Bought the sombrero restaurant on a whim - and now finding I can't actually do much with it (all my dough gets diverted to the waffle factory!); and wondering what the benefit of having a toy factory is!
Will be visiting you all regularly on my hunt for golden beams (next Eiffel Tower demand for me); wish there was an easier way to remember who's after what gifts, so apologies if I send you a chisel when all you're really needing is a flower bed And wish there would be easier container requests - managed to help a few people with chairs, paint, oil and berries and whatnot this weekend, but sometimes it feels as though I should specialise in electronics and cosmetics (neither of which factories I own yet, yowser!).
Well, have a great week all! And one day perhaps GI will introduce a vineyard (hops, red grapes, white grapes) and a distillery (potatoes + sugar for vodka! etc) and we'll finally understand what keeps our pubs running Cheers, everyone! Steve

Some players obviously progressed beyond the rulers collection. Does that mean they were able to find at least one ruler? Or did they buy all 10?

I bought the 3 suitcases with 4 rulers in each now i have 2 spare they should be something to give any surplus as gifts to help people out instead of clogging up your warehouse.

Yeah - I got 3 speakers in my WH - just waiting for a VIP containers with speakers. Also got my cosmetics of to level 4 - though that cost med 40 city credits ;-)

I hate how paper and copy paper have the same picture. When you are trying to fill someone else's container, you don't know which is which. Why don't they change that silly picture!

Sooooo, I did the right thing and alerted GI that there was a bug that registered copious amounts of chairs and cheese to me that I did not make for the contest yesterday, and this was the reply.....
She did not even read the email, so yesterday I won a contest and got an achievement I didn't deserve.

Hi!!! I am working on the port. I am on the part where I need to collect steel from the donut shops. So far I haven't gotten one. I did send out the taxi and got the bolt right away. I hope the bug is fixed so I can get steel because there was no way for me to collect steel prior to sending out the taxis. Anyone working on the port now? If so, we're you able to collect steel from the shops?

I'd venture to guess that their English is extremely limited. They might understand some words but lack reading comprehension. When they identify 2-3 words they simply plug in the most suitable, in their opinion, pre-generated message from their CS Manual and move on. No time to consult a dictionary, with so many complaints pouring in.

That only works in your own port. If you are at someone else's port, clicking on it only shows you another picture of it, not the words.

That is true. Yet another example of lazy design. They should implement tooltips. Would not hold my breath though. You can tell the difference between paper and copy paper only by the amount required. If it is something like 5-10 per container, it is probably copy paper.
