My biggest gripe with ipad is that under normal circumstances if you buy software, then, don't like, get sick of or for some other reason you don't want it anymore, you can sell it off. Not with the ipad!!!!

Catchyalater!!!!

Then, if you go to the Developer Page you get a lot of information on the app, especially for those that cost over ten bucks and those that are complex. It's a question of doing your research.

Isn't it illegal to resell software?

Nö real concerns

I did my homework, including lurking in this Forum, before I took the plunge. None of the 'limitations' concerned me or impinged on how I planned to use the iPad. I guess i'm lucky. :)

Unlike the iPod touch the iPad does not indicate wether a video was watched or not by a small blue icon dot. A bit of a pain when you're watching series and trying to figure out the last show you watched.

my annoyance - cannot get wifi to work. I can connect to the wireless router, I can see all the proper connections, but I can only get to web pages via the ip address not the hostnames. A laptop connected wirelessly can get to the internet. Interestingly, in the apple store, their open wifi worked seamlessly for me.

It could be the way your router is set up. Try calling your isp and explaining the problem

I have had my iPad since the day it was released and have been having wifi issues for the last 4 months. Every time I try to access the Internet, I always have to go to settings and disconnect and re-connect my wifi. Any every once in a which the iPad will disconnect me from my wifi and forget my password for wifi. Any suggestions- new to forum.

That's unacceptable. Try reinstalling OS 4.2.

Back up your iPad in iTunes and reinitialize it. It will take a while...

I wish that if you buy an app that is crap, you could get your money. In the market you 24 hours to uninstall an app you buy and your money is refunded.

This is very confusing.
This is a reference to the Android Marketplace where you can get your money back if you mistakenly buy an app or buy an app that doesn't work. However, I believe the time for refund was changed from 24 hours to 15 minutes some time ago which pretty much only covers buying something by mistake.

Oh. Got it. That is a big change though, from 24 hours to 15 min. I guess too many had buyer's remorse at the 11th hour!

Greedy Google got Greedy. Lol

24 hours would seem fair in terms of if it were a mistake. I often download an app before I'm heading out and don't fully try it until the next day. I've fortunately never downloaded one in error, but I have a bunch that weren't quite as useful as I thought, (mostly from iPhone), but since iPad, I am more discerning.
