Had the black iPad 1 and loved it, now got the white new iPad and love that too...particularly the fact that it looks a little different from 'the rest'. The white also seems to show fewer marks when in use...

White. Black shows finger prints and dust more than white.
We have one of each in the house and my white one looks cleaner.
