How can anyone think white is distracting, it's the offical Apple colour, Macs, and their Notepads and offical accessories are all white, white looks smart. Macs look smart all white and not distracting at all.
Also white does not get as hot, the black ipads get hotter, due to black obsorbes heat. Black always seems to look more grubby then the white ones, the black makes all your finger marks stand out more, making them look more dirty.
