Bluetooth connection to iPad

I cannot connect the bluetooth of my phone to my iPad 2. Can you please help me? And I cannot connect to iTunes too, why? Help! Please!

The iPad will only pair with BT keyboards and headsets, although Jailbreaking your iPad may give you some options here. Can you give us some more info on your iTunes issue, what is happening here?

Or the quick 'n' dirty answer - Apple in their infinite wisdom decided to strip out/disable a bunch of standard features within Bluetooth so that it will only work with other apple products and a select few accessories...

So, IMO basically rendering it useless to the masses...
