Calendar entries are duplicated

I have just come back from France, and presumably the time zone has changed. I find that all the entries in Calendar are doubled up; the times for each are the same, but every entry is duplicated.

I am not sure that coming back from a different time zone is actually the cause of the problem, but it may be.

How can I resolve this?
