Calendar losing data

Hello all. I've tried searching for similar posts, but couldn't find much.

A few times I have put dates in the calendar to remind me of when significant things have happened that I will need to remember a few years down the track; ie January 3, 2011 - bought new car, 23 October, 2010 - tetanus shot. Out of interest, I searched all through my iPad/iPhone (I have mobileme), and have found no mention of these dates.

Has anyone else had any issues with disappearing data/dates from the calendar?

You can only search back and forth by a year in the iPad calendar---but that doesn't seem to be the problem here, though, unless you've moved the current date forward significantly.

Try going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, scroll down to the calendar area and make sure sync is set to All Events.

That might help.
