Calendars Contacts and iOS5 problems

I recently updated my iPad 1 to the iOS5 and set up iCloud. Changed my mind and removed iCloud. However since the update syncing to iTunes gets me two popup windows that calendar and contacts will change over 25% of my files on my computer. Calendar will add 3 files, delete 2 and modify 176. Contacts will add 221, delete 0 and modify 17. Don't think I want to do that. I have not made that many changes to my Outlook calendar or to my contacts.

Everything else syncs fine.

????????????? Would appreciate help on getting the iPlod to just work the way it did before the update.

Are the contacts on your computer correct?

Are you syncing using the Info settings in iTunes to a local program like Outlook?

If so, you can go to the very bottom of the Info page and check the boxes in the Advanced section. That will erase that data on the iPad and replace it with whatever you are syncing it with on the computer.

It the answer to either of my two questions was no, don't do this. It would be bad.
