Camera roll frozen

I deleted a photo and now the screen is black and frozen, I can't tap or scroll back to view any of my photos. Suggestions?

Exit the photo app and shut it down by double clicking home button and ending app at the bottom by holding icon till it wiggles and then hitting red circle with minus sign. If that does not work try shutting down iPad or resetting.
