If your son has a separate Apple ID from you, you can't transfer apps from his iPad to iTunes on your PC, this would be considered a form of piracy. BTW, while iPad apps can be bought on your PC and stored in iTunes on your PC, they can't run on a PC as iPad apps will only run on an iOS device.

Hi Mike - I see an iPad in your future! You might just be surprised when the device replaces much of what you're doing on the PC? Dave
