Hi

I own an iPad 1 32GB , I want to upgrade it to iOS 6 by myself !

Is it possible ?

What must I do ?

No, you can't. iPad 1's hardware can't handle iOS 6.

Now I'm on iOS 5
Which is the highest version that I can upgrade on this ?

The highest iOS you can put on an iPad1 is iOS 5.1.1. And, it's still a "good" iOS as far as Apple is concerned (for the iPad1). So, to upgrade it, merely connect it to iTunes and elect to upgrade the iPad. iTunes will do its "magic" and the iPad1 will get upgraded.

If you do a back-up prior to upgrading, you can select "restore from backup" at some point during the process (iTunes will prompt you). Then, at the end, your newly upgraded iPad1 will be just as before, except on the newer iOS.
