"cant connect to itunes " when trying to update apps from ipad.

The last couple times ive tried to do updates for some of my apps i keep getting that message , ive tried on 3g and wifi and either makes no difference. It happened a week ago as well and then just randomly allowed me to after a while. A coworkers ipad updates just fine sitting next to mine. Any guesses?

How are you connected to the computer that has iTunes on it.

Is your iPad registered to the iTunes you are trying to sync to

try a hard reset......i know...its like the help desk saying reboot.....but.....i have noticed mine doing that once in a while and it DOES help
