CDMA Ipad 2 Unable to get 3G signal after boot up

I have a CDMa iPad 2. I have ran into an issue where I am Unable to get 3G signal if I do the following.

Turn of the radio
Turn of the iPad (Power down)
Turn on the iPad
Enable the Wireless Radio

From this point is sits searching for signal. The only way for me to get online at this point is to Turn on the Radio, Power down and restart with the radio enabled. Then it picks up a signal instantly.

I started turning off the Radio because I notice when I am at home it would never automaticly switch to my WiFi signal and would continue to use 3G.


Anyone else see this on theirs?

The 4.3.1 update just came out. It is supposed to fix some bugs, and if memory serves me right (which it sometimes does) cell connection problems is one of the bugs it's supposed to fix.
