Cellular data number.

Hi,

I am using an iPad 2 with 3G and wiFi for past 3 years.
It works well and I have no problems using any of the features.
1. But in Settings,General,About-- the Cellular data number is shown as UNKNOWN.
How can I enter my cellular no in this?

I also want to use Voice calling and text messaging to all mobile and landline nos.
Is there any app to do this pl?

The cellular data number on a WiFi + cellular iPad is just for accounting purposes. The cellular connection on the iPad is only used for data transfer. You can't use an iPad to make phone calls and send text messages to other cellular phone numbers.

There are third party apps that will do what you want. You can use Skype to send SMS text messages, voice and video calls to mobile and landline numbers. Skype is available in the AppStore.
