9to5 Mac have got hold of one of Apple’s staff-only RetailMe iPads and have been rooting around looking for anything of interest, as well as taking some screenshots of the app. The Daily Download staff newspaper is one of the key parts of the app, with everything an Apple store staff member needs to know to do their job, including store revenue and share prices. According to 9to5 Mac, the new iPads also have RetailMe, Apple Connect, Apple Directory, Concierge and the Easy Pay app installed, along with Mobile Genius and iRepair. One of 9to5 Mac’s sources also says that over the weekend Apple Store staff will be installing OS X Lion on all front-of-house machines, ready for an official launch on Sunday. According to the source, Apple Store managers have some idea of what will be going down this weekend, but they will be more thoroughly briefed this evening (Friday). All this talk makes me really want to check out my local Apple Store on Monday!
