Joshua Hill also known as p0sixninja from the Chronic Dev Team has revealed that they’re working on iPad 2 jailbreak.
Apple has fixed the jailbreak vulnerability that was used by Comex to successfully jailbreak iPad 2 on iOS 4.3 but based on p0sixninja’s tweet it looks like they’ve figured out a way to jailbreak iPad 2 on iOS 4.3.1.
Chronic Dev Team has previously released greenpois0n to jailbreak iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch on iOS 4.2.1.
p0sixninja tweeted:

Since 4.3.1 is already exploited by the legendary @i0n1c, we’re working on finishing iPad2 jailbreak now.
iPhone Dev team and iH8sn0w have released Redsn0w, PwnageTool and Sn0wbreeze that can jailbreak iPhone, iPad 1 and iPod Touch on iOS 4.3.1 but doesn’t support iPad 2.
p0sixninja has revealed that it is still early days so haven’t provided an ETA on when it will be released and to avoid upgrading to iOS 4.3.1 until they say so explicitly:
@ipodsuperman we're still in fairly early stages. progress depends on which way the wind is blowing (and if it's storming outside =P)
@bigrich0272 it's NEVER safe to update until we say so explicitly
Are you eagerly waiting to jailbreak your iPad 2? Let us know in the comments section below.
