Macworld is reporting that the DSG International retail group has come to the end of its 60-day iPad exclusivity deal, with the result that as of July 28th, Comet and John Lewis have joined DSG's Currys, Dixons Travel and PC World stores in stocking the iPad, as well as Apple's own stores, of course. John Lewis also has a selection of iPad accessories in stock, including cases and covers from the likes of Apple, Belkin, Griffin and Gear4. Macworld notes that not all Comet stores are stocking the iPad, so best to check before you make a special trip to get one and find out they don't have it at that particular store.
In an update to this story, Pocket-lint is reporting that John Lewis appears to be almost sold out of its first batch of iPads, going by the retailer's website, which only has the two 64GB models available, with everything else marked as out of stock.
