Confused new member.

I came to this forum via a Google search whilst looking for information on using my Apple TV with my iPad.

I didn't find the info but this site looked too interesting to pass by.

Anyway, as suggested, I will set down a little about myself:

I am a so called "Silver Surfer" although I don't have silver hair. In fact I don't have any hair.

I have been a home computer user since the days of the Sinclair Z80 with a massive 1K memory.

Gadgets, I have an iPad (of course)
an iPod
an Apple TV
a Samsung Galaxy SII
a Sony PSP
A Wii

and a Laptop, unfortunately, not an iMac.

As to my confusion, I have never heard the expression iSlate and so spent quite some time trying to locate one for sale.

You've got me confused on the islate now, is it actually the iPad? Hope someone else comes along who knows about this.

The IPad Forum is a community of members from all walks of life and from all over the world coming together to share our experiences and to help each other learn about this wonderful piece of technology the Ipad. There is a wealth of information already here in the many threads we have so doing some searches will answer most of the questions you have. If then you cannot find the answer you are seeking then by all means post your question. There are many friendly and informed members here only too willing to help you.

Welcome to the forum. iSlate is what people were calling it before the official iPad name was announced. This forum seems to have started before the official name, so some of the early posts reflect that, and will turn up in searches.
