Contacts... deleting groups, etc...

Still learning my new iPad... love it!! But think I screwed up... I imported contacts from my laptop and the result appears to be contacts from my little flip cell phone. Please don't ask me how that happened. Anyway, I now have on my iPad the iCloud contact group and a PC contact group. How can I delete the entire PC Contact Group?

After I've done this, how can I import my Thunderbird address book to my iPad?
