Ctrl key not working???

Hi,

I'm not sure if it's the right place for this question;
nonetheless, after connecting the apple wireless keyboard, the control key doesn't seems to work properly.

It's quite annoying for me since I wanted to do some remote programming using emacs (through VNC to my mac mini using Jump Desktop)

Does anyone know a way to fix this? (or is this a stupid limit of Jump Desktop)
