Saw this when I launched Cydia today. So, what just happened here, what did this do?

I clicked on it, and it "thought" for a minute, and then went to the regular Cydia screen I am used to seeing.

I recently Jailbroke my iPad using the Limera1n method, and have installed Backgrounder and Infiniboard, but nothing more because I am taking things very slow.

New to iDevices, and to Jailbreaking, though I have also rooted my Andorid phone too, which is similar to Jailbreaking iDevices.

Thanks for telling me what has happened here.

Pressing this button is letting Cydia know it is OK to save your SHSH's on their server for you. This is a good thing, and you should do it...
Search the forum if you need more info on what SHSH blobs are...

this is a helpful tool from cydia.
it saves your shsh blobs to their server.
this way, you could always downgrade it back to that firmware you have just saved.
this makes it easy for you not to be stuck on the firmware which Apple erases their signatures.

where is this at anyway? I dont' see it on my ipod touch or ipad when i go in cydia

it pops out the first time you open cydia (after it reboots that is)
this is what it looks like

you gotta have to tap it in order for your current firmware's shsh blobs be save.
so that is ever you've upgraded and not want that firmware upgrade, you could always downgrade because of this little process. ;)

hmm, i never received that message on either idevices that I had.
