I lost my garbage can from my gmail and hence don't know how to delete emails
I saw other people had the same problems but could not see the solutions

I am not familiar with the gmail app, since I only use the native email app. I am sure that other members will post once they see your thread. Good luck.

To delete gmail from the inbox you can -> Edit -> Move -> Trash
In the trash folder -> Edit -> Delete
