DFU mode

Hello.

I tried to put my Ipad1 in DFU mode without success.
Qu'en I push thé on/off buton, thé IPad immediately switch on. Thé Apple logo come so DFU mode not possible.
Is there a different solution?

Here is how to put your iPad into DFU mode -

1. Connect the device to a computer using a USB cable.
2. Hold down both the Home button and Lock button.
3. After 8 seconds, release the Lock button while continuing to hold down the Home button. ...
4. Nothing will be displayed on the screen when the device is in DFU mode.

It will look completely black.
