Display & Brightness issue?? Version 15.7.1, Gen 5

Hi all,
I was in the Display and Brightness setting a week ago having a look around.

I always set the brightness with the swipe down thing on the home screen. Manual.

Don't know if I messed up something or not in there, but the brightness goes up a little, every so often now???

The settings are....
Appearance....light
Automatic.....off
Brightness......about 1/3rd
Night shift......off
Auto Lock......5mins
Lock/unlock.......on
Text size......default.
Bold Text....off
