Playpen Studios announced today that its best-selling DJ rhythm game Skillz for iPad will be free to download from today, November 30, until Sunday, December 3. The game normally costs $5.99, so that’s quite a bargain, especially for a game that has topped charts all over the world, and has been the number 1 music game in more than 60 countries and the number 1 grossing game in more than 70 countries on the App Store charts. Gameplay sees players embark on a quest to become superstar DJs, gaining fans along the way by scratching and tapping their way through original remixes using virtual turntables, a crossfader and sample buttons. The initial download features 27 original remixes of popular tracks from the likes of Kid Cudi vs Crookers, People Under the Stairs, Diplo, Bassnectar and many more. Additional music packs can also be purchased from within the app.
