Does anyone know how to change the default printer settings on the ipad?

for example the 'select printer' - I only want it to print to one device why do I keep having to select the printer?

Also I want the range to stay on the from page 1 to 1 but it keeps going to 'All pages'

I use filemaker go on my ipad at work a lot and print from that. is airprint my only option to pull the info from file maker go?

Just two annoyances for me. Anyone know how to change these or is there a hack?

Haven't found a way to do what you want. The print routine is pretty basic. However there are special printer apps for several makes of printers which may be more versatile. Try searching the app store, they should be free.
