When I was a young kid I used to live in Portishead, near Bristol. My father was headmaster of the primary school there and I was a pupil. There is no worse punishment that life has to offer than being a pupil at a school where your father is headmaster...

Awww! Tim, bad luck. My daughters would agree with you as well! I used to teach my 16 year old, science, last year! I'm an HLTA and yes, we are cheap supply teachers, but I love my job and usually get the SEN kids that others don't want to teach so I reckon I'm doing them a favour!

Sky is clearing, rain has stopped, sun is coming out!!!

Unfortunately, they are saying it's coming again this afternoon or night, joy, can't wait!

Why thank you, we aim to please. We don't take things seriously that's why, I am now ducking and diving all the posts aimed at my head so I will say some of us, don't take things seriously and some do! Sorry serious people! Have you seen our uk thread on international. I love this app!

When you live in a country like ours you simply have to keep a sense of humour...

Well, here I am, sitting in Dumfries, Scotland, eating Marmite sandwiches (just don't ask if you're outside the UK, but our Australian cousins will know, of course, Vegemite and I've seen it many times in the US) and it's pouring with rain...a sense of humour is absolutely required...

Oh hell yes, marmite! You either love or hate that stuff! I love it on hot buttery toast with, yes, you guessed it, a hot cup of Yorkshire tea. Hmmm! Time for tea again, me thinks! Marmite is in SA as well you know. Happy eating D'Artagnan!

Do you guys even know what this thread was about?

Heck no, Marie! You know us! Off on a tangent again. I'm upset over someone's name being the name of a Siamese I had 10 years ago. It just brought all those feelings back again! You never forget your pets do you!
