French publisher DotEmu announced today that it has launched a special Xmas Sale, with one iOS or Android game (not both, unfortunately) being discounted by up to 80% per day from today, December 1, to December 24, Christmas Eve. Details about the discounted game of the day will be announced every day on DotEmu’s official Twitter page, and also on a rather nice Advent Calendar.
DotEmu is known for specializing in modern versions of classic retro games, such as R-Type, Another World, and Little Big Adventure, so be prepared to snap up some good bargains over the next month!
The games for the 1st, 2nd, and 5th have already been announced, with the first two being Android versions of Double Dragon Trilogy and Last Express 2, but iOS users get a real treat on the 5th, with the classic Another World reduced to 99 cents, as are the first two games. It's also possible that iOS versions of Double Dragon Trilogy and Last Express will feature later in the month.
