I can appreciate the level of frustration of those not able to downgrade. To me it goes beyond frustration though, it makes me feel like Apple has become far too arrogant.
Imagine if you will that Microsoft released an update that made it so that only MS software or it's affiliate software would run on your PC. People would be outraged!
As an owner of an Apple product you have every right to jailbreak it - the courts have given the green light on it so what gives hey!?

Hello, I just want to make sure of one thing. So if I just purchased my iPad yesterday and it came with firmware 3.2.2 already on it, would this still work? Because I know in the instructions for the downgrade it says it's only for users who have backed up their SHSH. Now obviously I haven't because I just got my iPad, but I saw a bunch of people saying it worked without the whole backup SHSH thing. Would I be able to perform this downgrade since I haven't even been on firmware 3.2.1 or anything besides 3.2.2 for that matter? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!!
If you had 3.2.1 on your iPad beforehand and you saved your shsh blob then yes it does work.
