What's the most recent success for moon dragon please?

Just tried the seaweed (lvl10) X firefly (lvl10) combo checked the incubation time 48 hours! yay Hopefully it's rainbow.

After many failed attempts (before finding this thread) of using Firefly x Seaweed (and various other combos.)
Nonetheless, just sharing. I'm excited.

My recent successions in getting 2 moon dragons and 1 sun dragon only took (fire/storm) FOR BOTH! Isn't that amazing

I am so so happy for you!! I've tried the Seaweed / Firefly combo at least 50 times. still no success.

I do however have a 48 hr using Love / Cold....but others have got rainbow, moon and sun from that combo.

I've been having NO luck with love x cold! I've also tried sonic x storm 5 times today. No sun yet. I'll get there.
I'm getting pretty stoked about the Leap Year dragon!! From what I understand, it's being released today, right?


edit: just tried again: level 10 love X level 10 cold (baby from fountain of youth) and incubation time is 48 hours. crossing my fingers for moon. it's 9:25pm here. I'll let you guys know what it turns out to be!!
the one from the other day IS rainbow. the pretty egg is sitting snugly incubating in the nursery!!!

I thought for whoever did not want to sift through the 1200+ pages of the Dragonvale Strategy thread, I would make this post, where people looking for Breeding Strategies for the Rare dragons would just come to PAGE 1 to find it and not have to continually ask "How do I breed a Rainbow?" etc.
I have posted the MOST COMMONLY CONFIRMED / REPORTED WAYS to breed these RARE dragons. There of course are other combos, but they have only been reported once or a few times.
RARE DRAGONS have A HUGE element of CHANCE, so keep trying!!

ADDITIONAL TIPS (Courtesy of "GT500Girl")

If a combo is not working for you switch the order they are put into the breeding cave. Ex: blue fire left / crystal right, try crystal left / blue fire right

If all else fails move onto another combination. Sometimes it seems like one combo will work for one person but not another.

There are lucky people, and sometimes they come on the first or second try but I would not count on it. Sometimes you have to try the same combo over and over again. Some combo's took some more than 50 tries.

I have the same thing going....Love X Cold 48 hours...12 left to go to find out if its a rainbow......

ok CONFIRMED again....SEAWEED X FIREFLY -> 48 hours -> RAINBOW!!!

I got impatient! hatched my rainbow and hurried up the other 48 hour breeding and it IS MOON!!!!
and just tried the love x cold combo again! another 48 hours! hope it's sun!!!

Any new news on the leap year dragon?

Argh!!! I got a sun from love / cold. I will have to stick with seaweed firefly or blazing mud.

This sucks. I got my hopes up so high.

Nope, not Sun. It's rainbow (the love x cold). Too bad we can't trade dragons!! I'd send you that 2nd rainbow for a sun!! (plus I'd kill for a bones dragon)
nothing is working for the sun yet for me, and I'm just about all out of gems now. -_-
