Of course when I'm NOT trying to get rainbow, I get 6.... is it possible to breed a 2nd leap year dragon? I'm almost completely out of gems.

Yup it's possible. Many on this forum including myself have got 2. Time is running out. Good luck!!

Okay. I am going to try one last combo.

Right now storm/flower are tied up.

I have tried:
Seaweed/firefly
Seaweed/scorch
Blazing/mud
Snow/scorch

None of which worked.

I don't have a love, pan, blue or frost fire and I'll be using the BC.

This one is for ALL the marbles...

I've been dying to share my completed islands with you all.

THE DV DEDICATION ISLAND

IMG_1107.webp

This island is dedicated to the game of Dragonvale. I have ensured that some of the main features of this game have been prominently featured on my island. From the Breeding Cave, to the Hibernation Cave to the Fountain of Youth. There are also minor touches of treat farms and other favorite decorations organized around the island. Lastly each of the dragon type flags fly proudly to represent each and every dragon that has passed through this game.

Colosseum

IMG_1104.webp

This island is definitely my favorite. The Colosseum is the main source of DV XP, and its where many dragons have given it their all to make their owner (ME) oh so proud. Each of the dragon shrines have been transformed to silver and proudly displayed for all to gaze up in wonder. As the visiting wizards gaze upon these statues they set their feet on paths paved of gold...the same gold that the champion dragons have earned in the Colosseum. The surrounding Pagodes and chinese laterns add a touch of class and represent the same competition experienced in many forms of martial arts. Each dragon flag is displayed proudly representing many of the competitors who have competed so amazingly on the battlegrounds of the Colosseum.

The Case of the Missing Gold

IMG_1109.webp

It has been a long 48 hour wait so that I could return the inhabitants of this island to their home. While they were gone, someone or something has hidden all their pots of gold that they have been bred to protect. Now all we see is a bunch of Rainbow and Leap Year Dragons flying around aimlessly around the UNTOUCHED island looking for their gold. Meanwhile, there are a trio of Sun Dragons keeping watch over the island during the day, and a trio of Moon Dragons looking out during the night. Where has the gold gone? Will the LYD and Rainbows ever find their precious gold ever again?

"TIC-TAC-TOE" ISLAND

IMG_1105.webp

Not all of 250strong's islands are dedicated to hard work and production. There must also be some room for fun! This island brings back the nostalgia of the Dragon's favorite pastime....TIC TAC TOE! Within the walls of the Snowy Trees, lays an epic TIC TAC TOE board where many dragons can hang out and test their skills. Unfortunately for the X's, the O's always sneak in a turn here or there and ALWAYS end up on top!!

THE TOWN

IMG_1106.webp

THE TOWN, is where many dragons of all types, shapes and sizes come to work. They fly around the town servicing all the visiting wizards and guests. The guests stay in the surrounding villas and cottages and walk along the BRICK paths until they are all rested up and ready to take on the world again. THE TOWN is a crucial part of the entire island as each and every one of these hard working dragons plays an integral part to the success of the world as they know it.

THE "I L" ISLAND

IMG_1108.webp

THE "I L" ISLAND is dedicated to the owner's (MY) wonderful support system and fiance. Without "I L", there would be no DV for this fan. The beds of roses shaped into the ultimate symbol of LOVE display the care and appreciation of one DRAGON LOVER! The wishing well in the center represents all the hopes and dreams for our future. The addition of PANLONGs that surround this island represent luck and prosperity and blessing that this couple will need when facing the realities of everyday life. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Just wanted you to know a read your story and looked and the pictures. I really enjoyed it and you have inspired me in to putting more thought into how I decorate my islands. Thanks for sharing.
