Finally!!! I got a rainbow!!! I used Second generation crystal and blue fire. I was hoping for a sun or moon, but I guess this is even better.

What finally worked for ya? I switched over to fire/storm and it took 2x. Yay for blues

I switched from fire + cold to second generation ice + fire. I then used that Blue and bred it with a second generation Crystal and now have a rainbow cooking.

It sounds like you're chasing the sun and rainbows! LOL Maybe that's the trick. Keep moving things so nothing is stagnant. Hmmm...
I did try moving habitats and boosts a few times- but nothing as severe as you have done. Best of luck!

I got rainbow. But this sun dragon is do difficult. Iv tried every combo posted here on the forum. But I'm not gonna give up until I get it. )).

Not sure what they are trying to achieve I have spent weeks
Looking at the forum
Changing my breeding dragons
Changing my island set up

Don't really need the stress

Don't mind if there is a logical challenge

Think I will try a game that rewards intelligence

I play other games while waiting. Try playing land grabbers it's a fun game.

How can you tell what generation your dragons are?

I believe they mean say you are breeding a crystal and bluefire. You get a crystal from that combo. That would be your second generation.

What is all this talk about generations and genes? They're just pixels lol. One crystal isn't going to have a better chance at getting a rainbow just because it was bred from one of your other crystals.

Im not trying to discourage, but seriously, gene manipulation theories in a game like this? I'm smelling some shenanigans going on here lol.

Um does anybody know how to get the sun, dragon or rainbow dragon witout buying them just breeding them.
I have tried the Lava dragon then the Seaweed dragon about 48 times in the space of about 4 days and I have no rainbow dragon, does anybody have any other ideas eventhough I am stiil trying for a rainbow with the Lava and Seaweed. thx

Well, just yesterday i tried a scorch and snow, both level 10. I got a moon dragon, and then I tried it again and got a sun dragon... I would try that combo... For the rainbow, well I've been trying seaweed and firefly
