What is all this talk about generations and genes? They're just pixels lol. One crystal isn't going to have a better chance at getting a rainbow just because it was bred from one of your other crystals.

Im not trying to discourage, but seriously, gene manipulation theories in a game like this? I'm smelling some shenanigans going on here lol.

Lol your probably right. I'm giving it a go though for something to do. The so called theory did get me my rainbow but it's probably coincidence. When I get bored with it I'll go back to trying for sun and moon again. It was just too frustrating for 2 weeks so I thought I'd try that guys gene theory. Either way it's probably is just a bunch of b.s. right now I'm actually trying to prove to myself that it does or doesn't work. Goes to show how bad we really do need a update! Hahaha. I just feel like if I get sun and moon then it's over until we get that update. *sighs*

I agree, we need an update, and III really need to figure out what a good rainbow breeding technique because I've tried firefly and seaweed a lot, and also blue fire/blzing and crystal a lot too.

I've Been trying for moon, sun or rainbow dragon. I been using sonic & storm. I tried over 20 times I finally gave up and tried to get a blue fire with fire & ice still no luck. So I tired ice & bone. & got my first 48 hour egg. Now it's the waiting game to see what I got.

Nice! And if that isn't a moon or sun, use scorch and snow level 10, I got both of my special dragons(not rainbow) with that combo

I believe they mean say you are breeding a crystal and bluefire. You get a crystal from that combo. That would be your second generation.

But once you've hatched and leveled it us there any way to know which generation it is?
