Finally after breeding mondo (my moss) and petal (my flower) seemingly endless times and getting tree after tree finally my second clover is cookin! Nw I can get back to using both caves for rainbows again. I've switched from firefly/seaweed to blazing/mud and now I have a cave tied up w a panlong. I also recently tried reindeer/sonic and love/cold with no success. Trying to decide whether to stick w those or try something new... Decisions, decisions.

Since its quiet on the breeding front and I'm just killing time until my 48hr breed finishes (another 12 hours) to find out if I indeed FINALLY have a sun (fingers crossed), I thought I'd jump on the computer and upload the promised (ages ago) pics of of my birthday cake efforts starting from my son's 2nd birthday cake - That one was my first ever effort and you can see by his 5th birthday cake that I am actually getting better at it. His 6th birthday is in late April and I've been given the challenge of doing a Ninjago lego samurai character (at least they're kind of squareish so it shouldn't be too hard!!??). Anyway, a bit of fun while we're not doing much with our islands!

Happy dance!! I reached level 30. Now what to do. Level shrines to gold or save up for level 30 island. Either is going to take forever. Vote here.

Congrats! I say go for level 30. It's good to go for shrines in my opinion on between everything else. :thumbs:

Mine is also scheduled for Friday delivery! And has been sitting at UPS that is only an hour and a half from my house for two day! I can't wait! Anyone find a good case for it yet? I've been looking at a Targus that doesn't look too bad.

Yay! I was wondering when you would chime in on your delivery! :thumbs: oh cool! Mine has been sitting about a 12 hr drive from my house since Monday. The only one's I found so far are zagg that comes with a keyboard or apples magnetic front and you can order the matching back from incipio. But they aren't even ready to ship. I believe Best Buy has shipments waiting to go on the shelves. If it's not a super tight fitting case some of the iPad 2 cases will fit. I'd rather have one that is made for it though I think. Is the Targus cases ready? They had some nice ones I thought...

The bonus for me in buying the new iPad is that I'm going to use my old one as a universal remote for my home theater. When I built this house five years ago the remote for it cost about $4,000. Since then it's batteries have failed and the manufacturer doesn't provide them any longer (I hate planned obsolescence). It works if it's plugged in, but a number of the devices have changed and it's impossible to program. So, for a hundred bucks, I can install an iPad app on the old iPad and use it. Gotta fight back.

The main reason I'm buying the new iPad is I have the first generation....pretty bare bones compared to iPad 2 and the new iPad 3rd generation. My hubby bought me the iPad 2 for Christmas but I made him take it back because I knew the new one would be coming out and I was also holding out for Retina display as well as a better camera and video camera.

Yes, they are. He is getting better. It will still take time but he and move around now. He pulled his IV out yesterday lol It's not a laughing matter but at the same time it is because he could not of pulled it out before. He couldn't even lift his hand he was that sick. Understood. I believe that I spent on an average of 45 to 50 million DC a day for the last week to grow enough treats just to level him up from 19 to 20. It's a long haul, and you'll need an army of them, along with a dozen rares, your cold habitats filled with level 15 Frosts and Bluefires, and Airs and Sandies breeding non stop.

Oh yea...and you'll have to plug your IPad charger in the bathroon, 'cause you're going to want to sweep, reset your treat farms, and reload the caves...since you're up using the facilities anyway. Haha. That's because your wife refuses to let you plug it next to the nightstand in the bedroom. How rude! ;0)
