Awwwww....... My grandad suffered with that terrible it's amazing how they can tell you a story from years ago in great detail but can't remember something from that day, it was really hard for my dad though when my grandma passed as my grandad kept forgetting and asking when was she going to come and see him ( he was in a home before she passed as grandma couldn't cope ) so he had to explain every day ,in the end he just used to say she'll come tomorrow as he'd forget that too,he used to think I was one of the nurses lol x x x

My hubby's mom is living with Alz. It such a terrible sickness. She is going on ten years. She was vibrant and had this great laugh. Now she sits with her eyes close. If we are lucky she may interact for a few seconds and than she closes her eyes. It's been more difficult on my father in law. Although he has 24/7 help he stills worry. I think she stays, cuz he is not ready to let go of her.

Yes my grandad also got in a mood sometimes, but most of the time he was ok, telling stories of his younger days like it was yesterday it is an awful illness !!!! he died about six months after my grandma they were 81 and 83 x x x
