Most of the metalheads sell for $1.5M. The Magnetic dragon is a 4/4, which makes it a better coin generator than the Airs and Sandies.

Hey folks, discovered this at the Glitch page of the wiki

Some dragons sell for different amounts from the Hatchery as opposed to from a habitat. Most sell for less, but Iron currently sells for more. You get 2 million if you sell an Iron directly from the hatchery, but 1.5 million from the habitat. At both points you get a message saying "Do you want to sell for 1 500 000" but you get a different amount if selling from the hatchery or the habitat.

So, breed Irons for cash and sell direct from the hatchery is the advice at this point. They are the best deal going whilst this glitch is in place.

Mags only sell for 1 250 000 from the hatchery (1 500 000 from a habitat), Cactus sell for 10 000 from the hatchery (100 000 from a habitat).

First piece of advice is dont' breed them with a hybrid. You often just get the hybrid back (or something worse). Breed it with a pure element. Earth and Lightning give Iron and Magnetic for 4 hours. Cold gives Mine for 10 hours. The others are times in between.

Yes, 2 things you're doing wrong there. 1. You need to breed a Cold dragon + a Fire Hybrid for a Frostfire. 2. You cannot use an opposite dragon to breed another opposite. (e.g. Air and Sandstorm will not get you another Sandstorm).

I recommend Cold + Firefly/Scorch, but other combinations can be found in the OP at http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-game...g-guide-no-guarantees-no-friend-requests.html

Haven't tried it yet but if I was going for a sandstorm might try air/iron. Shortest breed times on the earth hybrids if you have failed attempts.

Going to do some testing on this combo. Or I am in the middle of it, more importantly, to check results against Air + Mud.

I need a Cold dragon to breed with a fire hybrid. I'm trusting you completely but is there a reason this is so? If I bred a fire dragon with a cold hybrid, would I get Blue Fires from that then?
And a blue fire with a fire would never make another blue fire, nor if I put it together with a cold dragon. It's consistent with my finding breeding sandstorm with air for lord know how many times, but I also don't understand why that is the case.

Is this just something testing shows or is there an explanation?

I always want to know too much I guess

Well for semantics, it's because the game is programed that way. A pure element bred with it's opposite hybrid results in a Pure element. Much testing has shown this to be the case.

I think it might have to be to do with the primary genes. When you've got them past level 10 and they are wearing the ball the colour of the ball indicates primary gene. So when choosing the hybrid select one which has the correct ball colour for the dragon type you need. Hmm. Hope that makes sense. I know what I mean. Lol

Glitch was gone when I tried it.

Edit: Tricky... When you sell it from the Nursery it states that you will receive $1.5M, but when you sell it your account is credited with $2M.

Pay careful attention to your money total before and after you sell your egg. Also, the correct numbers flash up on the screen for coin and XP after you've done it. I sold an Iron, got the message "Do you want to sell for 1 500 000?" then had 2 000 000 coins flash up when I hit yes and my total coins increased by 2 million.

Edit: Yeah, tricky indeed. But hey, an extra 500K in the bank every time. We should do another round of "How much does your park earn in 24 hours"
