Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

I'd love a couple of each of the rares but I seriously dont know what I'd do with my existing habitats to get them. I just recently changed a few of my habitats around, to hopefully make more cash/not 'lose' so much, and I'm already not as happy with how my park looks. I initially had two of each 'normal' habitat and one each of the rare 3 and was really happy with the way it looked...so now I still think it looks okay but I am pretty sure it would be harder to have a pretty park if I had to sell off more of my normal habitats.

Hey, I'm also wondering if anyone has sold a rare dragon? (Moon/Sun/Rainbow) Just wondering what coin you'd get for that?!

P.S I know it's not the right thread but I would welcome any friend requests (I would really love to see some other parks!) and it would be a bonus if you'd be able to gem swap too (I only have 2 friends currently and neither seems able to return most of the gems I send - one doesnt play every day and the other, I am guessing, has other friends they give to).

I just want 2 so I can breed them later. That's assuming we get more islands to decorate. But yeh, I know what you mean. I sold a air habitat today. Only have one now. Not sure I like how it looks but I needed to move things so I can build another sun and moon habitat. Now I have a empty space for moon until I sell another habitat. It really irritates me we didn't get the option for more habitats. I'm going to sell a plant habitat too....next day or two. They are getting too cluttered for my liking. Just sent you a request.

Thanks for accepting AND for the gem! Will send you one when my daily clock ticks over for more gifts. Your park looks great and makes me think mine is too crowded. If only the new update had included a new island. Maybe next time.

I think it's a good thing too. I'm probably going to scale down to 4 of them here soon....but I don't want to rush to get everything done so quickly in case the next update isn't so large. You can still harvest all the other food right? Can't remember lol. Or maybe upgrade only so many of them. That way if you need/want a lot of food quickly you can get it. Just my 2 cents. ;o)

Thanks GT500Girl! Yes, I'm planning to only upgrade a couple of my farms to start and see how I go...actually, do you know if they actually need more room? (I'm assuming so, *sigh* so more rearranging necessary I guess )

I have sold plenty of rare dragons. You get 2 million for suns and moons, and 2.5 million for rainbows. However, the money gained from 4 days of collecting those coins vastly outweighs the couple million for selling them. Trust me, if you want the most profit, don't even breed rare dragons with each other.

Something else I meant to mention - I wish we could tether the new breeding island to any of our existing ones; I have a 'quiet' island all set up for uniterrupted breeding (hehe, I know I actually makes no difference but I like the thought of it and it looks nice IMHO) and would love to have the dedicated breeding island attached to it too. Hmm, I suppose I could swap my islands around but man, that would be a LOT of work. I'll have to think about it if I ever get enough gems for the new breeding island

Thanks for the compliment. I have to admit I'm generally pretty pleased with it (but, as I previously mentioned to GT500Girl, I was happier before I sold/rearranged some habitats the other day).

Yes, I wouldnt really be planning to sell them generally but knowing my luck I'll get multiple of one before I get all 3 types, heh. Its still a far off thought either way - I only have a Sun so far.

Oh, I've got a 5 hour breed time on a Plant x Bluefire...does anyone know if that's DEFINITELY a Reindeer *fingers crossed*??? (I got prematurely excited with a previous pairing which gave a 5 hour wait but only resulted in a seaweed)

I actually kind of have to keep things a bit spread out because I play on an iPhone and I find it's just too hard to see anything when it's too 'busy'. hehe

Oh, I know that feeling. I'm on my iPhone as well. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to play DragonVale on an iPad. Dreaming for the future!

Just caved and bought some gems for the breeding island and first try on it I get 48 hours breeding. Was trying for Rudolph, lol, with Snow and Seaweed. Any guesses as to what it could be? I am hoping for moon or rainbow! I like the new update, but was hoping for more habitats and regular island.
