I thought I would spend a penny at the races. I came in first place, and to my surprise the new update features some very cool changes too!

They changed the treat prize from 2500-5000 treats down to only 925 if you take gold. That completely ruins the races for me. It makes the treats you win in the races far more expensive. To me it's not worth it to play the races unless they change that.

*Update* I managed to breed one pearl dragon! Finally! Sadly though I had to cave and buy the egg pedestal...I'm not pleased with having to spend 115 gems but I was glad for the option. So hopefully I can finally get caught up on all the new dragons!

Hi everyone, the Ruby dragon is out. Good luck! Some of the fails are very long. My first attempts have resulted in a Forge in my cave and a Gold or Rainbow on my island. I can't afford that may gems to speed them up so I have a long wait until my next try. I would be pleased to get a Gold dragon.
I look forward to hearing about your attempts.

No luck still on the double headed bugger! And another summer wait! And now I have to go after ruby! Lol! So many dilemmas.

I am very pleased to tell you all that I have a Ruby on my first attempt in my second game. I hope that everyone who had such difficulty getting a Pearl has similar luck. I didn't get my first Pearl until the 27th of the month so I am so pleased that I have a chance to catch up in so many other dragons.

Welcome to the forum, great to have you here. There are lots of theories about what works and what does not. I think you are right. It all comes down to luck .... And a little help from the wizards!

You get the egg with the pedestal. And they cost less then the dragons. For example the jade dragon is 700 gems to buy the dragon, or only 65 gems to buy the egg pedestal.

On a side note I got my first ruby of the month from two level 15 dragons on my island. Two more to go, then I still want 4 more jade dragon eggs.

Well, I just got my Ruby dragon for the goal. Took less than 5 tries with no long fails. Guess I need to upgrade another gem habitat before I hatch it



Mine was crashing and reloading but someone on tis forum suggested that you have to collect the gift and then wait a few seconds before collecting the next one. This has worked well for me.

Yes, that really helps. Take your time collecting them!

I have been using this combo too, hopefully it will get me my double rainbow. I have been breeding rose/river on my island and firefly/seaweed in the cave non stop... Nothing yet!
