Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Well I've had 2 Epic fails and 2 mid-length fails so far...

May buy the pedestal, but I'm refusing to buy the dragon itself. Not sure I like that option as the quest for all dragons becomes less meaningful.

Note this is my personal opinion and I've no qualms with others buying theirs. We each play our own game in our own way.

Good luck to all still searching for any dragon and congrats to those who have succeeded with our new gem dragon already!!

I decided to buy my amber and also the egg pedestal, I saved 400+ gems and because I'm still trying for a second a third peridot :3
This dragon is kinda weird, her head is bigger than the rest of the gemstone dragons and also she can swim x3

Just want to show this Amber-wonder, with the little fossile inside the amber. A real one, without the pedistal.
I think it's a very beautyful egg.

I've started considering buying the dragon and the remaining two pedestals I need because I have fallen behind on my regular egg display. I haven't been having the greatest luck with the gem dragons this time around. I usually don't get both until well past the half point mark.

On the island I got a 4 hours.
On my regular cave I got this:

My quest for Amber: 1st fail was a Hail, 2nd fail was a Forest (which I needed anyway). Third try yielded my first Amber I hope getting the egg for display comes this easily!



My plan for amber is try breeding it until the 18th and if I don't get it by then ill buy one cause I want to focus on catching up on the other dragons I'm still missing and don't want to miss this opportunity. I would rather breed it naturally but I can over look it this one time


On a side note the solstice stones are no longer lit up, wonder what that was all about?

Could this be the Ouroboros and Amber dragons that I've long been searching for!

Ouroboros Dragon = Magnetic Dragon + Seaweed Dragon ( both level 10 )

Amber Dragon = Evergreen Dragon + Quake Dragon ( both level 10 )

As I said, its just my personal feelings about buying eggs; I totally get why you guys want to buy this one, especially when they tempt us with a huge price cut. Allows you to save your gems for other breeding chances, but then how many of us would consider buying this
dragon without the sale offer? Seems a bargain is too good to pass up even in DV...

If it was a one month gem dragon then I think I would have bought it in the sale, but given all I need is my second and egg Double
Rainbow, I'm able to spend a lot of time trying for the Amber dragon.

As a side note, I'm well chuffed as I've finally worked out how to do the multiple reply thing!!!
Seems all I needed to do was read the forum in the website viewer rather than just stick with the app view...

Such joy from one small achievement.

Yay!! A happy double for sure. I know some people have really struggled with the Ouroborus, so well done on a big success.

The only downside to the Ouro is that my pair now languish in the Hibernation Cave as they earn so little compared to their Apocalyptic cousins...

When I finally bought my first Egg - the Amber - it was after a "philosophical hour".
If I am right, it has not been possible to buy eggs on pedistal before the new change.
I have been very proud of my Egglanf, I put many hours in to get it, but now it's no match any longer. You could buy one ....

What I have left is the beauty, to study the patterns a s o.

To keep it up to date, I took a decission to buy on Sale in this changed world.

Am I right about this, it hasat been possible to buy eggs?
