Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

It's been a little while since I've posted anything. But I just wanted to share with you guys my successes recently. Just incubated my second Sapphire Dragon. The first one resulted from a glitch. i bred a fail(i believe a 6 hr. fail) and i came back later and it said 19 hrs. i didnt complain though. now i just need one more for the goal! i also got my first cotton from lava and ash. It was the first 24 hour timer I got. Thankfully I have had shorter fails... Until now. I put my ash and lava back in and got my display double rainbow! I still have to breed a second cotton though, then I can move on to the bronze or pepper dragons as I still don't have either.

Can anyone else remember how difficult it was to get their first Rainbow and now I seem to get them when I don't want one. I will soon have more rainbow habitats than anything else. Thank goodness we have the storage tower.

Yes, I did not go out of my way to breed the display double rainbow. I figured it would come to me eventually. It makes the third double I've gotten. I hatched the first two because the Scott was more important than the display. But now my hatchery is going to be really clogged for a while.

How can you be so cool Peppie? After having seen the possibilities of getting the ordinary Rainbow, I couldn't stop breeding just to get a double ...
Think it was easier, right in the beginning too...

Yes, the Bronze is a permanent Treasure dragon. So your focus should be on the two current limiteds: Sapphire and Cotton.

So so tired of crystal clogs or long low money fails...

But having tried endlessly for the Cotton dragon, I hit on a spree of cactus/poison fails, so decided to speed each one up. When it got to number 6 in a row I finally got something exciting - I've just got a 48 hour breeding time..... If I understand your question right, you have got a 48hours coming. Now I do not remember if you have upgraded your breeding cave. If soo, you can have a DR coming.

When I am posting I can also show the result from my Eggland - how the Cotton fits in.
Will that be the new solution? Densifying - is that he word?

I am glad I am able to write prose - well, the last tiny verse - when I wake up in the middle of the night.
Think it was 03.30 ...

Lots of from the North and the autumn coming.
If the rain stops, I think I will go down to my boat and start the engine.
Soon I am going to have to "put it on land". Sad, very sad ...
But next year - another summer.

Thanks for the dust from up North! I have my second cotton after several LONG FAILS including a few rainbow and Crystal Clog! I'm going back to Amber for the egg now.

Just got a rainbow fail. Getting my first cotton the day it came out on my second attempt made me think this was going to be easy, I was wrong lol. I was hoping to get this cotton out of the way so I could finish the sapphire egg hunt. And soon the fall dragon will be out too.

That's a long fail. I have a crystal or a cotton. I'm not sure which yet. In keeping my fingers crossed.

Thank you for letting us all know. I don't think I will be using the upgrade straight away as I have got used to switching my parks through the Game Center icon. I would welcome any feedback from anyone who does upgrade iOS.

I am busy trying for a bronze or silver Olympus. I have an Olympus of the way but I won't know which one until later tomorrow.

I'll probably update straight away as it sounds like some nice changes are coming in. (Some do seem very similar to the BB10 OS...)

EDIT: Don't bother trying to upgrade to iOS 7, it is failing worldwide...
