Same for me, 13 hours to hatch - I think it's a glitch on their part as it was a purchase in the market place. As for the new gemstone dragon, I bought one outright and the pedestal - not worth trying when the magic is still creating havoc in the market place. I have 2 different new dark dragons breeding. Interesting look! Still holding out to see how the island looks - if any changes as the 'ruins' are not a good look. Happy breeding all, and welcome back Olds.

I noticed that I can put either rift Dragon in the light or dark habitat. Also if you breed a dark rift Dragon you can get the light dragons aS an outcome. And I bred my dark rift dragon with a fire dragon and got a 12 counter... Even though both of my caves are upgraded. Either a heat or a dungeon.

Most of my dragons are at level 4 and a few are a bit higher. What are the benefits to higher level dragons? I did them all to at least 4 so I can breed with them but then didn't do much more. I did get one to a high level to see what would happen and it got a flashing light above its head!

Level 20 dragons can acquire crowns. The higher level the dragon the better chances of getting rare dragons as well as greatly increasing your income. I level all new dragons to 10 right away and slowly go back and level then further. The only dragons I am giving crowns to are my limited dragons.

Yep, same for me. If you breed a dark rift dragon with another earth, plant or fire dragon you will get either light or dark dragons. Best to stick with breeding the dark dragon with earth, plant or fire if it's the dark element dragons you need. diz diz dizzy

And not very appealing to the eye. I'm not a fan of the cave dragon...looks very spidery. Ick.

I don't have either of the earth/darks yet, but I like the dark/plant ones. But I like bright, colorful things, and those dragons have lots of color.

Check out the price of the jet pedestal - now 125 gems. I bought mine outright. From memory it was 25 gems?

The dragon itself was 125 gems during the sale. The pedestal was 30 gems. I bought both as my first attempt at breeding one was a Rainbow.



Just saw in my social menu that the rift island and rift dragons will be gone November 20th. But they are planning on more dark and light dragon hybrids to be released in the future.

As I'm not a 'face booker' that's helpful info. I hope they increase the earnings on the dragons as they do appear to be low. Some of them adore not so pretty!

Has anyone managed to breed a Light Rift dragon?

I'm trying to get a second one before the island and Rift dragons vanish, but I've tried light and light rift, which seems to endlessly give me light dragons (which incidentally do hatch in 10hrs unlike the purchased ones). I've also tried Drake Rift and Light Rift, which seems to give either light of dark dragons.

It may be that I just need to keep trying, but so far I've had 8 attempts of each combo and got consistent results....

For the Dark Rift I was able to get enough dark magic to be gifted 2 Dark Rift dragons, so I've not had to try for that one, however I did breed them together for a dark rift pedestal.

I'm totally with you on the Cave dragon..... Very spidery with the long legs and compound eyes... Yuk!
This one may be a candidate for making younger! The root dragon looks cute as a big baby.
