Here's the local towns Xmas lights. Please note I got drenched just getting out the car, big storm overhead. Raining cats and dogs and floods everywhere.

The Xmas tree was in Stourhead our local National Trust House. It was specially decorated in 4 rooms for Xmas. If any of you saw the Kiera Knightley Pride and Prejudice Film, the scene where she is running in the rain across a bridge was Stourhead garden/lake.

Well! That's one more day of excitable students got through. I was asking them what they were getting and a lot of them were getting iPod touch and iPhones, laptops, £200+ etc... Sigh! Whatever happened to board games, sweets etc... Average amount was £300+. That included the poorer parents so god knows how they could afford it! I certainly don't have the money this year! Good old games, music, films, tv, and turkey. Old fashioned Xmas still rocks my world.

rainey night at my brothers house. btw the christmas tree in backround is 15.9 ft high and its made of 1800 empty heineken light bottles. yes he and his friends drank all that beer and started in october of 2010. built the tree right after thanksgiving. I had to take a pic of it.
