After Xmas lunch or dinner we draw a number out if the Santa hat,
In numerical turn you select a brown paper bag.
Much conversation ensues re wine where from etc ,hoped you'd get that one etc....
At the end you can swap with each other if you wish. Or not.more hilarity and talk its great.
It's a great way to bring one take one ,everyone is happy.no major expense ,and everyone seems happy.
Kids get presses from Santa only!!!
I like getting and giving a book at Christmas. It's a gift that makes the rounds because I give a lot of books away hoping other people enjoy them and pass them on again.

Well that says it all. We teachers are busy folks. She's probably loving every moment but exhausted as hell. Still, I'd like to know how she's getting on with her new phone unless she's too busy.

This year we will be having a traditional Christmas....in the desert that is. I heard there will be a real life nativity re-enactment with camels and all. 23 litres of wine being home brewed as I write. Now what to buy he wife for Christmas ? Just need a way to minimise the criticism when I get it wrong!!

Its always hot here in Australia for Xmas so it means BBQ's the beach, water flights etc where I live Christmas day averagely tops round teh 45* celcius mark. This year we are travelling to the other side of Australia for our first family holiday in 10years & cant wait!!!
