If you’re planning on going on a trip in the near future then you might want to check out Expedia’s newly revamped iPad app, which, 9to5 Mac reports, has been upgraded with a tablet-optimised look and a better search facility, which combines both hotel and flight details in one panel. Expedia says that it’s this feature that makes the app faster to use than those of its competitors.
Simply enter your required destination in the app in order to see results for both hotels and flights.
Other notable features of the revamped app include a single search box, without a need for specific dates or details.
Collections is another new feature, with themed travel destinations to prompt you to consider visiting somewhere you might not have thought of. Content will be updated according to visitor feedback.
The app also features Expedia’s new Scratchpad service, which helps you to keep tabs on your travel searches. When you sign into the app, the trips that you researched on your tablet will also appear on your desktop or mobile Scratchpad.
