Facts R Fun

There is a shark infested lake in and Australian Golf Course in Queensland!

That's Carbrook Golf Course which isn't too far from us.

There's only 6 sharks though and it came about after some flooding and the river broke it's banks and they found themselves in the lake.

Did that incredible flood affect your place? Do you live close enough to have been worried? I watched it on TV and it looked a lot like the tsunami in Japan only the water near you was coming from the inland! I sure hope you don't live that close. What do those sharks eat anyway? There's no water way for other things to come in - so why haven't they starved????

Peace begins with a smile. :)

Those floods would have affected a lot of areas but not me personally.....although we had floods here in 2011 which wiped out quite a lot of Queensland and my city of Brisbane and Grantham which must be the footage you saw......Grantham did suffer an inland tsunami more or less which practically wiped the town out.....That one affected us, our business went under....it was a horrible time for so many!

There's a lot of fish in those lakes so those sharks are fine.....they've become quite a drawcard for the Club too!
