Yeah, I hear you, it's a shame though. Loses its authenticity somewhat, or shatters the illusion at least! Haha

Too true that. I wish it would, especially when I'm standing in front of one when I'm out of an evening! Haha

Well, could you mention "Coronation Street" then, please, and see if you can give that the kiss of death?
unfortunately my kiss of death doesnt work on soaps cause ive been trying it for bold and beautiful series but still showing and yet my other fav show gossip girl got canned too early:eek:

We enjoyed the first programme in a series called lost kingdoms of South America. This was on BBC four and it was the story of El Dorado: we have both visited many of the places shown.

Also way back I read a book about predictions for the decline of mankind and changes in the world through the loss of water as predicted by the Kogi a tribe which features at the end of the programme.

That sounds like a good show. I love those documentary types where we can learn about other cultures and see the sights some of us perhaps may never see with our own eyes. I would love to visit South America. I was due to go on a short 6 week travel there with my cousin and a friend of hers a few years back. Would have been Brazil (desperate to go there), to Argentina, to Chile, to Bolivia, and ending in Peru. Sadly, I wasn't able to go, but the other two girls went. My cousin fell in love in Peru, settled and now has a baby girl with her Peruvian husband to be! She says "I'm happy being a mountain dweller" :D

There was a three part documentary on recently about Italy that I would love to have seen also. I missed it! Must download it.

We enjoyed the second part of a documentary about an Australian, Brolga, who cares for orphaned Roos.

It was a great programme. We must watch the first one on BBC iPlayer.

Yes, a great show, it's called Kangaroo Dundee, part 3 is on BBC2/BBC HD this evening.

I caught it by accident last week, I wasn't planning on watching anything but I just had to keep watching.

I'd guess that the BBC only have rights to show this in the UK as it is probably an Australian show licensed to the BBC.

That's a good point. I'm beach crazy and I think that was a slight draw for me, but I genuinely did love the cast of Miami, even when it changed. I was highly pi$$ed when I discovered most of it was filmed in LA! Haha..

Too funny. And most of the lifetime movie network shows are filmed in Canada when they are supposed to be in LA or somewhere in the US. I love when I can hear the Canadian accents lol.
