Yes, I'm afraid I was brought up with sci-fi. Angels, is my favourite - Don't blink... Excellent script, was that Steven Moffat. Not sure? I loved Torchwood original series, hated it when the main characters were killed off one by one. Wasn't sure of Owen being revived but I coped with it. I loved the interaction of him and Tosh and him and Gwen. As for Captain Jack, love , love ,love him. I'm still not sure how they make him into the face of Bo? The new series, hmmm! Not sure, I loved the fact we got it back but for me, it was too americanised. Sorry, but we Brits can make these things quirky and Starz tried to make it too mainstream. Having said that I loved Rex Mathieson and Esther Drummond. They shouldn't have killed the Vera Juarez the doctor though. I can see her being Owen's female counterpart easily. I realise Jack's bisexuality is important to him but can we see less flesh and more aliens please? The series could have been 6/7 episodes rather than the stretched out 10.
I remember the original Battlestar Galactica definitely. Great series for me and also 2024? Heck, you've got a much better memory than me. I'm better with faces than names. What was that series with Gil Gerrard? Edit. Buck Rogers. I enjoyed it for the humour. Apparently the props from the Battlestar Galactica were recycled for that show.
Where you a Knightrider fan in the days when David Hasselhoff was actually cool to like. Not so sure of him now though.
I've been lucky enough to see a few Shakespeare productions at Stratford-upon-Avon. Not with David, unfortunately, but the new theatre there is excellent. Definitely worth a visit. The whole town was lovely to stroll through. I'd love to see the Globe theatre but haven't had the money to go.
Went to see My Fair Lady at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Fantastic production, huge set. We walked around the Coventry Garden market. It was Xmas time and it was fantastic. Another world for us country bumpkins.
Robin Williams - truly great. Peter Pan, mrs Doubtfire, Jumanji, Toys, Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Night at the museum, Bicentennial man... Agh! I can go on and on and on. Steve Martin, he is another favourite. The Man with two brains is my absolute favourite although Roxanne is a close second, many, many, more. But I digress! Sorry, it's your fault! Hee Hee
