AppleInsider reports today that ETonline has posted the first footage to be seen of the forthcoming Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher as Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, and Josh Gad as the other co-founder Steve Wozniak. The clip features Steve Jobs trying to convince Woz of the value of his computer, with Woz needing convincing because he says that “nobody wants to buy a computer, “ to which Jobs responds, “How does somebody know what they want if they’ve never even seen it?†Just from seeing this little clip, I want to see the film! The movie now has a theatre release date of April 19, to tie in with Apple’s 37th anniversary. The movie covers the time period between 1971 to 2000, and is one of two movies in the works based around the life and legacy of Jobs, with the other being a more big-budget project, according to AppleInsider, with backing from Sony, and a script written by Aaron Sorkin, which is based on the official biography penned by Walter Isaacson.
