At this year's WWDC, Apple revealed iOS 8 with a lot of new features that pleased users. One of the new features was support for third-party keyboards. And now we're hearing news from 9to5Mac that the popular Fleksy keyboard for Android will be making its way to iOS 8 this fall.
The Fleksy keyboard isn’t ready for a public beta for iOS users, and developers say it will be ready by the release of the next-generation mobile OS which will take place this fall. But things are different with Android users, as the app has recently been updated with support for 15 more languages.
However, developers say that the iOS version is on schedule to ship with support with over 40 languages just in time with iOS 8.
The power behind Fleksy is its unique technology based on Geometric Intelligence. Imprecise? Sloppy typing? No problem! Fleksy will know what word you meant to type even if you tap on all the wrong letters. The patent pending technology doesn't just look at the letters you press. It looks at WHERE you tap and analyzes your typing pattern to understand the word you meant to type.
The Fleksy keyboard has been present on iOS in the form of a standalone app for quite a while, but with iOS 8′s support for third-party keyboards, it will be available within the system itself.
