What's new

Food anyone?

I see the children, Gabriel. What lovely photos Karma! I wonder what iPhone 4S you've got? Hee Hee. I love the way these photos can be zoomed so you can see the smaller items of interest. Keep em coming.

Richard Brown, thanks for posting the google street map picture, that area was not as lively as in the picture when i was there, but today is sunday so that explains it. Gab, i saw the menu through the window and from the looks of it i will be trying this place out. I was surprised the chairs left outside were not nicked, may bee they are chained and locked, if it was chairs from my workplace they would have dissapeared quickly, lol :)

Hayles and Skimonkey, thanks for liking the pictures, i sure am glad u enjoyed it. I posted some pictures of St Pauls Cathedral in the "anything goes thread" hope u like them too, the cathedral looked beautiful today in the bright sun :)

Yes wonderful photos Good Karma, I've never been there either, but one day I hope too. I wondered about the chairs left outside too!

Gab, I can see what looks like children too, well I see one pretty clearly.

The other Saturday, I took the tube to St Paul's, then walked to the Society of Genealogists at Charterhouse Buildings. I had the walk mapped out, but got myself lost. Went via the Bank of England. The tour added 15 minutes to my journey, but I didn't mind seeing hidden parts of the City.

St Paul's looked great. I took a photo, very similar to one of yours, Good Karma.

I've not seen St. Paul's since the remodel was finally done. Will have to check it out next in town.

Foodwise, I've just taken my head out of a bag of potato chips, or crisps, as you folks call them.

I thought you guys called them crisps too. We call them chips here. When we were in the US we were surprised to get potato chips or crisps when we ordered a Club Sandwich, we expected hot chips, but then again I guess you guys call them Fries. A tad confusing at times, but a bit funny too.

Americans call crisps chips and call chips fries, lol.

Hayley, I owe you an apology......I think I'm losing my mind! I was the one who mentioned the children then I forgot!!

I must learn to remember the things that I say! The Square Mile is pretty safe compared to some parts of London so the chairs are fairly safe there although I can imagine if there was some kind of a demo on then the chairs would end up inside the cafe.....straight through the windows!
